Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Generalist to fill a temporary position for a manufacturing client in Tracy CA. This position will last 3-4 months. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting the HR department with various tasks and initiatives. SCHEDULE: 7:30am-4:00pm

Duties:

Manage recruitment processes from job posting to onboarding
- Conduct employee orientation and facilitate training programs
- Handle payroll processing and ensure accuracy
- Assist in HR sourcing and talent acquisition efforts
- Coordinate employee relations activities and resolve issues promptly
- Maintain HRIS systems and ensure data integrity
- Support performance management processes
- Assist with benefits administration and open enrollment
- Ensure compliance with labor regulations and company policies

Skills:

  • At minimum a few years of HR admin experience, preferably in manufacturing environment
  • Understanding of CA employment laws, specifically wage & hour (will maintain attendance tracker and W&H compliance)
  • Comfortable completing orientation process with new hires or temporary employees (presentation and paperwork compliance)
  • Experience handling confidential information (will sign confidentiality agreement)
  • Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Able to maintain strong communication and updates to off-site and on-site manager
