ATSS Engineering has a client in Pascagoula looking for a Program Coordinator.


Job Title Includes:



  • Assists/supports program management office in the coordination efforts of all engineering, purchasing, scheduling and subcontract work.
  • Represents program management office in internal and external meetings. Attends required meetings to support, obtain meeting minutes or capture action items. Leads internal project resources across a matrixed environment. Uses Earned Value Management System on a daily, weekly, monthly basis to evaluate project performance developments. Oversees budgetary and scheduling activities of assigned control accounts for the program office.
  • Schedule planning and status, measurement of accomplishment, actual cost collection, variance analysis and resultant corrective action and estimating costs at completion. Participates in all program management reviews, integrated baseline reviews and other reviews critical to the program. Drives daily communication and interaction with matrix team members and customer representation ensuring program milestones are met.
  • Supplies department leads with information and analysis data as requested. Develops and maintains graphical representation/presentations of critical data and reports illustrating program status and performance. Develops and maintains process instructions, associated workflows, and issue guidelines in support of efficient practices. Develops budget spreadsheets or reports, forecast for resource requirements and status progress for assigned work study or technical instructions.
  • Assists in reviews and submissions of contract document deliverables. Supports planning and coordination of all program key events. Attends daily production meetings during construction.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills. Strong analytical skills. Ability to prioritize and handle emergent tasking. Ability to work in a team environment. Proficient with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Bachelors degree or relevant experience in a supervisory position can supplement for continued education.
  • Experience with government contracts preferred. Control account manager experience required. Zero to three years of experience in shipbuilding. Excellent communication and analytical skills, familiarity with shipbuilding standards and best practices related to program delivery.
