Healthcare Customer Service Representative

This role is responsible for providing concise patient and prescription information in accordance with HIPAA
Role Responsibilities - Effective delivery of company products and services - Responds to telephone inquiries and orders from homecare patients and referral sources. - Provides information on equipment, supplies and services. Determines the best method for providing services. - Verifies insurance and/or other method of payment - Resolves patient complaints by identifying problems and coordinating appropriate corrective action. - Other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Experience
- 2+ years experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and 3rd party vendors is
- 2+ years experience veritying insurance coverage for potential new clients.
- 2+ years working experience with insurance concepts, including drug cards, major medical benefits, and per diem coverage.
