The Order Processing Specialist will be responsible for Processing customer orders, compiling paperwork, verifying order accuracy, and coordinating with other teams to ensure prompt and accurate fulfillment. As part of the operations team, you will also be jointly responsible for contributing towards the achievement of the companys strategic and operational targets and overall business aims.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Print and validate work orders and any order requests sent through email throughout the day.
  • Communicate and respond to various inquiries either by email or phone system.
  • Required to substitute material on orders, once approved, to accommodate client needs.
  • Provide clarification of orders that are not complete or not concise through feedback between sales and shop floor.
  • Sort and file/deliver orders to the proper departments.
  • Update work order log.
  • Update order status.
  • Run and send out shipping list.
  • Enter saw production.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 1-4 years of related field experience
  • Experience in manufacturing or O&G related field preferred.
  • Computer skills necessary (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, ERP system)
  • Computer skills preferred (G Suite, iMetal)
  • Possess knowledge of material, customer requirements and sales order structure
  • Good understanding of the process flow
  • Good organizational, problem solving and verbal/written communication skills.
