Responsibilities:

  • Execute cell-based assays to identify potential targets, employing a range of molecular biology techniques tailored to oncology or immunologic disease
  • Develop and conduct genomic, protein, and cell-based assays for target validation, discovery elucidation, and mechanism of action analysis
  • Carry out sophisticated multi-color flow cytometry to characterize immune and cancer cells
  • Execute bioanalytical assays, including ddPCR, ELISA, MSD, and Western Blot, for precise quantification of target proteins
  • Execute cytotoxicity assay/proliferation assay to examine the functionality of the targets
  • Independently design experiments, analyze results and present findings with minimal oversight
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to propel Simceres pipeline forward.
  • Stay abreast of scientific developments within your field of expertise

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelors or Masters degree in Cellular Biology, Immunology, Oncology or a related discipline, accompanied by a minimum of two years pertinent experience, preferably from the Industry
  • Proficiency in molecular biology techniques such as cloning, transformation, transfection, transduction, qPCR, gene editing-CRISPR, RNAi, RNA sequencing, NGS and Western blotting
  • Expertise in cell culture practices, including handling primary cells (e.g., human T and myeloid cells) and established cell lines
  • A robust foundation in conducting, analyzing, and troubleshooting cellular assays
  • Training in various cellular assays like flow cytometry, cell proliferation, and immunologicalassays
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Strong communication skills, adept at multitasking, with a commitment to meticulous record-keeping and organization
  • A self-starter with a team-centric and results-oriented mindset
