What you will get to do:

Maintains cleanliness throughout the park by conducting various cleaning and detailing requirements.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain cleanliness of restaurant patio areas to include tables, chairs and the gathering of service trays.
  • Sweep and mop floors, empty trash cans and ensure proper stock in all dispensers.
  • Clean drinking fountains, sinks, counters, mirrors, stall doors, vents, and dispensers.
  • Detail and clean all park restrooms and pathways.
  • Plunge clogged toilets.
  • Restock and maintain storage rooms and satellite storage areas.
  • Ensure excellent customer service by responding to customer requirements, expectations and needs.
  • Communicate safety policies to park guests.
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with Ambassadors, Vendors, and Guests.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Occasionally assist other locations and areas in the park as needed.
  • Change trash bags in all trash cans in assigned areas.
  • Sweep debris from pathways while scanning landscape for trash.
  • Must be able to walk throughout the park.
  • Must be able to move freely around work areas.
  • Must be able to bend, reach, twist, and turn with complete flexibility.
  • Must be able to work indoors/outdoors in all weather conditions and temperature extremes.
  • Must be able to work varying shifts/hours based on business need, including opening as early as 8am, mid- and closing shifts as late as 12am, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications:

  • Valid state Driver’s License preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to read, write and speak English.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift, push, pull and/or carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Regular use of hands and fingers; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
  • Position engages in extensive walking and standing throughout entire work shift and climb/ascend heights, if needed.
  • Stand for prolonged periods of time.
  • Perform the following physical activities: kneeling, squatting, bending floor-to-waist/waist-to-overhead, reaching overhead, simple grasp and fine hand manipulation tasks (use of tools/keyboard/writing).
  • Position may be exposed to fumes, dust, odors, and cold/heat temperature extremes.
  • Perform cleaning duties, including use of cleaning chemicals.
  • Must be flexible in work locations as placement will depend on business needs and career development opportunities.

Availability:

  • Available to work varying shifts or hours based on park hours, including opening and closing shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • At least 4 days of unrestricted availability including weekends and holidays during peak season.
  • At least 3 days of unrestricted availability including weekends and holidays during the off season.

Compensation:

  • 16.85 USD per hour.
