A reputable Hospital is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Manager to lead our Medical-Surgical Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The Nurse Manager for the ICU will report directly to the Director of Nursing. This position involves close collaboration with other nursing leaders, department heads, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure the highest standards of patient care and operational efficiency.

The Medical-Surgical ICU is a high-acuity unit that provides specialized care for patients with complex medical conditions and surgical recovery needs. Our unit is equipped with the latest medical technology and staffed by a team of highly skilled nurses, physicians, and support staff dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care.

  Job Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of the Medical-Surgical ICU, ensuring optimal patient care and efficient workflow.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of nurses and support staff, fostering a collaborative and professional environment.
  • Implement and uphold policies, procedures, and best practices to maintain compliance with regulatory standards and hospital protocols.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate effective patient care planning and delivery.
  • Manage unit budgets, staffing schedules, and resource allocation to ensure operational efficiency and financial stewardship.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement improvement plans to enhance staff performance and patient outcomes.
  • Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the unit.
  • Participate in hospital-wide initiatives, committees, and projects to advance the mission and goals.

Applicants should hold an active RN license and quick interviews will be given to those with ICU management experience. Applicants should have strong leadership and communication skills.
