A healthcare facility in Conyers , Ga , is in need of a Medical Physicist to join its Radiation Oncology team and provide physics consultation to all Radiation Oncology personnel concerning aspects of patient care and treatment. Seeking highly qualified candidates with Master's/Ph.D. in medical physics, preferably board-certified in therapeutic radiological physics or ABR part 2 completed. Must be eligible for an HDR RAM license in Georgia. Work with cutting-edge equipment at our Conyers site (Varian iX linac, Varian Gammamed HDR afterloader, GE Lightspeed CT). Utilize Aria (v16) and Eclipse AAA (v16.1) across practice sites. Focus on QA with IBA Blue Phantom II, Mapchecks, Daily QA3s, IC Profilers, Mobius 3D, Clearcheck, and Mobius FX for IMRT/VMAT QA. Specialize in HDR, SBRT, SRS, and large prostate seed implant programs. All potential candidates should be able to get on a HDR RAM license in the state of Georgia.

Requirements
Master's or PhD in Medical Physics
ABR or Eligable
1+ years of experience
Strong presentation skills, ability to communicate effectively to a group via phone/face to face
Strong technical aptitude
Strong analytical, math, physics skills, including data collection, problem-solving
The ability to resolve complex technical issues independently
Self-motivated, organized
Detail-oriented
Possess strong time management skills

Estimated Pay
The facility provides a competitive range of compensation for this position. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience and specific office location. It is possible that this position can be hired outside of this salary range based on experience.
