We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Payroll and Benefits Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role requires a deep understanding of complex payroll and benefits regulations across multiple jurisdictions, including the United States, Amsterdam, Puerto Rico, and England.
Key Responsibilities:
Global Payroll Processing:
Oversee the accurate and timely processing of multi-national payroll, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws and regulations.
Manage payroll tax filings and reporting for all entities.
Process employee compensation, including salaries, bonuses, commissions, and deductions.
Reconcile payroll reports and resolve discrepancies.
Stay updated on global payroll trends and legislative changes.
Benefits Administration:
Manage and administer a comprehensive benefits program, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits.
Assist employees with benefits enrollment, changes, and questions.
Ensure compliance with benefit plan regulations and reporting requirements.
Process employee benefits enrollments, terminations, and changes.
Coordinate with insurance carriers and third-party administrators.
Global Payroll Compliance:
Stay informed about global payroll regulations and tax laws.
Advise on global payroll strategies and best practices.
Collaborate with legal and HR teams to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Conduct regular audits to identify and mitigate potential risks.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field.
5+ years of experience in global payroll and benefits administration.
Strong knowledge of payroll and tax laws in the US, Amsterdam, Puerto Rico, and England.
Experience with multi-national payroll systems and HRIS.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
