An exciting and challenging position has recently opened for a Nursing Manager to lead a busy Inpatient Care Unit. Join this trusted Northern California hospital, and lead a team of excellent, compassionate nurses.

As a key member of the Inpatient Nursing Leadership council, the Manager will get to play a vital role in delivering those services. This Medical Center has been recognized for advanced performance in a large number of service types, including Emergency Care, Surgical / Perioperative, Physician Therapy, and Rehabilitation, making it one of the best hospitals around.
At the center of, and supporting many of these excellent service lines is a busy Medical Surgical Unit. The Inpatient Nursing Manager will take a direct role in leading this unit that offers care for Oncology, Orthopedics, Post-Surgical, and Medical patients. This unit also offers overflow beds for the Ambulatory and Post-Procedure Unit.
Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, the Nurse Manager of Inpatient Care will play an integral role in coordinating clinical and administrative operations. Supporting the Nurse Manager is an experienced Acute Care Certified Nursing Supervisor, as well as a great team of Critical Care and Post-Surgical Staff RNs. Overall, the Manager will oversee about 40 FTEs, including support staff.
The Inpatient Nursing Manager will get to take a pivotal role in the clinical and administrative success of the hospital, and in the advancement of superior Patient Care. You’ll work with educators and inpatient leaders to help develop and codify standards and practices that keep this nursing program at the forefront of the medical field. The Inpatient Nursing Manager will also get to serve as hospital-wide leader through optional participation in committees for employee experience, patient satisfaction, and quality improvement. Working in collaboration with leaders in finance and operations, the Manager will also get to make significant impacts on improving the operational efficiencies of this unit.
