Job Summary:
HailSolve has a passion for creating engaging articles and content. We believe that when researched and produced well, content plays a powerful role in delivering exceptional results in today's marketing stack. As thought leaders in the hail risk management space, we're seeking a creative Marketing Content Manager to lead our content strategy and execution. The ideal candidate will engage on a technical level with SMEs and institutional research, translating that knowledge into actionable pieces of content across multiple mediums — with the goal of capturing SEO rankings, empowering our internal teams, improving the quality of our advertisements, and increasing conversion rates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Strategy Development:
- Create and implement comprehensive content strategy aligned with marketing goals
- Conduct market research and audience analysis to inform content planning
- Content Creation:
- Write, edit, and oversee production of high-quality content, including blog posts, articles, whitepapers, social media posts, and marketing materials
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and relevance
- Keep a pulse on industry research and articles to educate content efforts
- Translate content into training materials and internal communications
- Content Management:
- Create and manage the content calendar, ensuring timely delivery and publication
- Optimize existing content for SEO and audience engagement
- Translate content into different formats and mediums
- Cross-Channel Marketing:
- Coordinate with the marketing team to integrate content across email, social media, and digital platforms
- Work with the revenue operations team to maintain an internal knowledge base and own the translation/surfacing of themes, core ideas, and successful angles to other parts of the business
- Copywriting Support:
- Assist and manage copywriting efforts on direct mail, digital, email, and other channel advertisements as necessary
- Analyze and report on content performance metrics to guide future strategy
- Team & Vendor Leadership:
- Mentor and guide junior content creators and collaborate with designers, marketers, and external partners
- Foster a collaborative environment that encourages creativity and innovation

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in content marketing, copywriting, or similar role
- Proven track record developing successful content strategies and campaigns
- Strong portfolio of written articles and advertisements
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- Proficiency in SEO best practices and analytics tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush)
- Experience with content management systems (HubSpot or WordPress)
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Additional Preferred Skills:
- Experience with video script writing and production management
- Comfortable with on-camera appearances and public speaking
