As a Showroom Sales Specialist at AuthenTEAK, you'll be the heart of our West Midtown showroom, providing exceptional service to our valued retail and trade customers. Your role will involve assisting customers in person and on the phone, in finding the perfect pieces to elevate their outdoor living spaces, sharing product knowledge, and creating memorable shopping experiences.

We are looking for an individual who is not just a salesperson, but a trusted advisor to our customers. The ideal candidate for this role is dependable, detail-oriented, and driven to succeed. You should possess excellent communication skills, a passion for exceeding customer expectations, and a genuine enthusiasm for our products and brand.

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and/or background:

• 3+ years’ experience in sales with a strong record of sales growth, ideally within luxury outdoor furnishings, design, hospitality or retail.

• Excellent Computer Skills - Efficient Typing, Word, Excel; QuickBooks proficiency a plus

• Passionate about design

• Articulate, energetic, engaged and motivated

• Enjoy helping others

• Take pride in your work

• Hard-working/Smart-working

• Ability to multi-task and excel in a fast-paced environment

• College degree

• References

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Assist customers in selecting the best outdoor furnishings and accessories to suit their needs.

• Provide product information, recommendations, and advice to enhance the customer shopping experience.

• Maintain a clean and organized showroom to showcase our products effectively.

• Process transactions accurately and efficiently.

• Collaborate with co-workers across the organization to accomplish sales goals

• Establish and maintain relationships with architects, builders, developers, designers, purchasers, and specifiers of commercial spaces.

• Acquire expert-level knowledge of outdoor materials and brands to best assist clients with product selections

• Identify high-value projects in the planning stages

• Manage customer relationship by resolving client concerns

• Provide timely and accurate technical information for product specifications

• Possess the ability to multi-task and have diligent follow up skills

• Respond to phone calls and emails in a prompt and professional manner

• Working on Saturday is part of a normal work schedule.

Compensation for this position is a base salary plus commission. We offer health insurance, a 401k with company match and PTO.
