Job Description

The DT Sr Lean Operations Leader will be responsible for leading the operations of the lean efforts across Digital Technology organization in partnership with the DT Lean Coaches and DT Lean Focals. This leader will continue to help lead the deployment of FLIGHT DECK into the DT culture. Ideal candidate will have deep lean expertise and knowledge of Digital Technology / Information Technology processes and standards within GE Aerospace to be leveraged in this role, and will have comprehensive knowledge of underlying principles, approaches and lean methodology to mature a complex organization’s capabilities. This role will have 1 direct report and will have manage the DTLP candidates for Lean rotations in US.

Essential Leader Responsibilities

  • Lead the DT Lean Operating cadences, including staff and strategic initiative meetings, DT Lean calendar, Lean/Kaizen weeks, training programs, Lean bowler and action plans, DT MOR Lean reporting, and DT Impact Register
  • Lead DT FLIGHT DECK communications in partnership with DT Communications leader
  • FLIGHT DECK coach and trainer
  • Lead VSM/Kaizen efforts within DT
  • Leads the DT Lean Standard Work deployment, including portal management and process modeling
  • Partner with the GEA development programs, including DTLP, ADTE, and LTT
  • Lean Coach for assigned CXO and leadership teams

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 8 years of professional experience OR Associates degree with minimum of 11 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 13 years of professional experience
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a Lean Coach
  • Note: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience
