As an Architectural Coordinator at Dream Finders Homes in Orlando, you will play a vital role in connecting design and construction. You will work with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure that architectural plans are accurately implemented, meeting regulatory standards and client expectations. Your responsibilities include reviewing and coordinating design documents, managing project timelines, and facilitating communication among all stakeholders, including the internal team members from sales, purchasing, permitting, and marketing. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and knowledge of local building codes are essential for success in this dynamic position, along with a solid understanding of construction processes and design principles. Your efforts will help ensure that projects are completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards, contributing to the company’s reputation in the Orlando market.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and provide product for potential community
  • PSP Review for product submittal
  • Assist with research and coordinate Land Development Code/Ordinance needed to permit homes
  • Submit Line-up to respective city/county for architectural review. Coordinate for each community
  • Communicate with AHJ for submittal process and requirements
  • Coordinate and track all master changes (+119 SF and THs)– (PCR) with sales, purchasing, construction, and trades
  • Coordinate updates/requirements with Sales, Purchasing, Operations
  • Prepare submittal and track submittal process
  • Maintain Community Master Approval (Tavistock/Bella Collina)
  • Review and track sales contract
  • Review and track final plans
  • Review plot plans


Assist Sales:
  • Respond to community questions from sales
  • Blackline maintenance for each community
  • Communicate masters and options with sales
  • Assist with community kick off meeting


Assist Permitting:
  • Assist with permit rejection related to master revisions
  • Review and coordinate plot plan issues
  • Review and coordinate plan discrepancy - preliminary plan reviews


Assist Marketing:
  • Responsible for Marketing Audits and coordination of Website materials
  • Assist with new renderings (elevations and floor plans) with Sales and Marketing
  • Assist in review of marketing for prints


Assist Purchasing:
  • Assist with plans and options for bidding
  • Assist with paint schemes and call-outs with Sales, Purchasing, and Land
