Purpose: Cincinnati, Ohio Employer has an immediate opening within the Accounting Department. Our Sr. Accountant will be responsible for accounting activities including:

Position Responsibilities :

Corporate Reporting
Month End Closing, Journal Entry posting for Month-End,
Verifying, allocating, posting and reconciling accounts payable and receivable;
General Ledger; Inventory Control
Cycle counts, fiscal inventory, up-to-date standard costs
Product error-free accounting reports and present their results
Reconcile balance sheet accounts
Trial balance analysis and other business analysis as needed
Performing other accounting duties as required or assigned

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited college
2+ years in Manufacturing
Working knowledge of GAAP
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Proven experience in corporate reporting
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software (Excel, Word, etc.)
Very good experience with ERP systems (SAGE a plus)
Knowledge in Hyperion
Ability to meet a constant stream of deadlines
Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality 2 Competencies: Competencies
