Training Program Coordinator

We are assisting our client in searching for a Training Program Coordinator based out of Agawam MA. The role is a contract position (full-time temporary with a potential for conversion to permanent) and onsite, not remote. Heavy event planning and logistics experience required.
Salary: $25 to $30 per hour based on experience
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate scheduling and logistics for ongoing training calendar of events
- Plan and implement large-scale training events
- Work with vendors for required services and equipment
- Maintain an active calendar and ensure adherence to timelines to remain on schedule
- Partner with internal stakeholders on all aspects of events
- Handle pre- and post-event activities, enrollments, program evaluations, and related
- Support other Learning and Development projects in department
Experience and Educational Requirements:
- Proven experience scheduling and coordinating learning and development program events (or general event planning)
- Good skills in managing projects, timelines, and responsibilities of key players
- Good communication and partnering skills
- Understanding of learning and development practices is a strong plus
- Proven ability to manage a variety of multiple projects
- Good computer skills and experience tracking projects
