Job Description:
We are looking for a meticulous and organized student to join our team on a flexible and part-time basis as a paid Document Management Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the digitization of paper documents, ensuring they are properly organized and easily accessible for our tax and accounting processes. You will also provide light support in the office for tasks, like assisting the team with filing, data entry, and client document management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and manage document scanning equipment to digitize paper files.
  • Organize scanned files into appropriate folders and maintain an efficient document management system.
  • Assist with managing client records, ensuring data is up-to-date and easily accessible for the accounting and tax teams.
  • Provide light administrative support, including data entry, bookkeeping support, and helping the tax team meet filing deadlines.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Prior experience with document scanning or digital file management systems, is a plus, but not necessary.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting or tax practices is a plus but not required.
  • Detail-oriented and able to work with high levels of accuracy.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Familiarity with accounting software or document management systems is also a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word, and Adobe Acrobat.
