  • Research and complete any necessary requirements to receive appropriate approval to bid and submit bids for contracts
  • Planning and creating detailed bidding proposals
  • Conducting risk assessment and bringing issues to senior management
  • Coordinating with clients, vendors, and suppliers
  • Coordinating with the team members to gather relevant information and data
  • Ensuring deadlines are met
  • Maintaining a detailed and accurate record of the expenses and other costs
  • Understanding the customer requirements and including the same in the bid proposal
  • Overseeing and negotiating bid pricing
  • Performing other duties as assigned



Minimum Requirements:



  • Must have three (3) years of experience securing contracts, specifically in the DOD
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Business Management, or a related field preferred
  • Proven work experience as a Government Contracts Specialist or a similar position
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good time management and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • A team player and ability to work independently
  • Ability to handle stressful situations and manage deadlines
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Ability to offer excellent customer service
  • Working knowledge of Deltek Costpoint – Contracts module a plus



Schedule:



  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
