Job Description:

Under direct supervision, applies accepted procedures to the preparation and maintenance of financial and business transaction data, and prepares reports to ensure accurate accounting records. Performs complex clerical and entry-level accounting activities. Performs entry-level bookkeeping and accounting tasks. Posts journal or voucher entries, reconciles accounts, and checks for accuracy. Verifies, sorts, posts, and checks claims, bills, invoices, and vouchers. Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.

Compile financial information to prepare entries to accounts.

Prepare and record journal entries.

Prepare and record month-end accruals.

Assist with general ledger account analysis and reconciliations.

Assist with the preparations of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting.

Responsible for the record retention of accounting records.

Maintain accurate records of accounts payable and receivable.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

This is an entry level position.

Qualification:

High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience

Knowledge & use of basic office equipment.

Proficient at 10-key and general keyboarding.
