Denver, Colorado / Kansas City, Kansas / Milwaukee, Wisconsin / Saint Louis, Missouri / Salt Lake City, UtahSales /Full-Time /RemoteWhat does it mean to be a Regional Sales Director with GLS?As a Regional Sales Director in the Midwest region with Global Lending Services, you are responsible for increasing sales in the designated region (includes CO, IA, KS, MN, MO, MT, ND, NE, SD, UT, WY) through the development, support, and coaching of our Area Sales Managers and Independent Sales Agents to position the organization as a leading supplier of high-quality auto financing.How will you drive value within the organization as a Regional Sales Director?Establish key business initiatives with measurable goals and milestones that support the overall region and company strategyMake new dealer visits or cold calls and take inbound calls from dealerships to build relationships and capture businessRecruit and train new Area Sales ManagersIntroduce new and acquired businesses to company procedures and appropriate personnel for related servicesEstablish goals for Area Sales Managers; provide coaching and support towards goal obtainment and hold him/her accountable for resultsCommunicate expectations and hold Area Sales Managers accountable for meeting financial goals and performance metrics – all while maintaining a high level of moralePerform these same functions with GLS Agency partners in terms of coaching, servicing and supportMaintain electronic records and filesFoster a collaborative culture that facilitates the achievement of business plan objectives by working closely with other associates and members of managementParticipate in special projects as neededPerform additional assignments as required by the needs of the company or as directed by managementWhat should you already know to be successful as a Regional Sales Director?Minimum of bachelor’s degree requiredThree (3) years’ experience in auto finance, preferably in sub-prime auto financing preferredFive (5) years’ sales experience within the auto industry preferredKnowledge of the assigned territory market with existing customer relationships preferredIntrinsically motivated with demonstrated ability to take initiativeExceptional interpersonal skillsExceptional oral and written communication skillsProficient computer skills with working knowledge of internet and standard business applications such as Microsoft Office; ability to quickly learn new computer applications as requiredDemonstrated ability to motivate and lead a teamExcellent organizational skills with high attention to detail and demonstrated ability to effectively set and manage multiple conflicting prioritiesEmployment Requirements:Must be able to pass a criminal background checkMust possess a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving recordTalk and hear to exchange accurate informationHave close visual acuity to perform activities such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; viewing a computer terminal; extensive readingThis is an exempt level position whereby business need will dictate the exact work schedule which should be expected to vary at timesMust have the ability to operate from a home officeThis position does require extensive travel both in a vehicle and by air; travel is to be expected 75% of the time, with overnight travel and extended hours$95,000 - $125,000 a yearPay structure includes base pay rate plus monthly commission
