JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Vice President of Brand Marketing will lead brand and media strategies by playing a critical role in driving growth and profitability. Be an agent for change and innovation. Lead brand & media channel strategy through alignment of the various department heads within the Marketing team.

JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for developing and implementing the company’s overall marketing strategy.

• Oversee the Marketing and Advertising Departments.

• Work together with the Advertising Agency on a daily basis to evolve and refine our brand.

• Oversee the incorporation of Social Media across several digital marketing platforms and a number of paid media channels to increase revenue.

• Drive the implementation of marketing campaigns that meet business objectives and drive leads.

• Set performance and financial goals and attain them through team direction and management.

• Build and lead a marketing team who are deeply analytical in approach, tools and techniques and knows how to acquire new customers while constantly optimizing spend.

• Prepare and allocate budgets.

• Research and identify new business opportunities by developing a refreshed and expanded proposition that works across marketing channels.

• Seek new business tools and methods.

• Ensure that brand, visual identity and design conventions are tangible and consistent in every touchpoint (web, customer support, social, imaging and traditional media).

• Lead the creation and execution of comprehensive, measurable marketing strategies to drive sales.

• Utilize critical market and competitive research to understand, segment and define target market verticals and geographies, refining and improving the company’s product value.

• Collaborate with other executives and team leaders to decide on business strategies.

• Work collaboratively across functional teams including Sales to drive and deliver growth objectives, product marketing, funnel optimization and other strategic business objectives.

• Develop critical metrics and marketing reports for the Leadership team based on annual marketing objectives that demonstrate contribution to new and add-on revenue goals.

• Responsible for positioning the Customer Care organization to provide an exceptional customer experience, effectively manage customer retention, and drive revenue growth.

• Utilize Key Performance Indicators to ensure overall management throughout the service delivery process resulting in improved Customer satisfaction.

• Promotes and implements initiatives in support of industry leading benchmarks for measuring exceptional customer retention factors. Prepares service improvement plans in response to consumer satisfaction survey results.

• Accountable to departmental budget, staffing requirements, spending strategies, and P&L (profit and loss) that provide for growth, yet drives cost efficiencies.

• Other tasks as required by management

Qualifications include:

• Experience in creating and managing plans to achieve sustainable, profitable growth through actively growing revenue across all business activities.

• Previous success managing paid search, email, SEO, display, and social media, with measurable results.

• Outstanding communication skills, ability to build credibility quickly and able to provide clear direction and feedback to analytic and creative marketing people.

• Strong analytical skills– able to leverage data into actionable insights to create impactful marketing programs.

• Expert understanding of digital marketing KPI's, metrics, analytics, and reporting methods.

• High integrity and strong business ethics.

• Very skilled in using Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), MS Project, SharePoint.

• Exceptional EQ and interpersonal skills. Highly collaborative team player who will contribute to a positive environment and purpose-driven company culture

• Proven success leading a cross-functional staff through change; new initiatives, individual development and introduction of new tools and processes.

• Track record of innovative strategic thinking combined with pragmatic, roll-up-the-sleeves execution and results delivery.

• Must be able to travel domestic & internationally.

• Able to meet deadlines.

• Ability to work well under pressure.

• Excellent leadership skills.

• Professional demeanor.

• Ability to communicate and partner with all level of employees and outside partners

• Extremely collaborative across the organization and Leadership Team members to create a results-driven, team-oriented environment.

EXPERIENCE:

Outlined below are the academic qualifications and length and type of experience deemed necessary by Unique Vacations Inc. in order to perform the role of Vice President of Brand Marketing competently.

Education: BA or equivalent (Master’s Degree preferred) in marketing, advertising, communications or related field

Experience: Over eight years related experience and/or training; over 8 years executive marketing experience with a focus on product marketing and content
