A well-capitalized real estate investment firm specializing across a wide array of real estate endeavors, is seeking to add an Investor Relations Vice President to their growing team. This individual will be responsible for supporting growth efforts, funding and closing loans on a deal by deal basis, with a primary focus on retail investors.


Vice President Investor Relations Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement loan closures on a deal by deal basis
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing investors, focused on expanding the network
  • Facilitate investor due diligence requests, working alongside other key team members
  • Identify and evaluate new investment opportunities
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact fundraising efforts, adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with potential investors, presenting investment opportunities and effectively articulating the value proposition of the firm
  • Collaborate closely with the investment team to understand the unique selling points of our portfolio companies and effectively communicate these to prospective investors.


Vice President Investor Relations Qualifications

  • 6-10 years of relevant experience at an investment management firm or similar
  • Knowledge and deep understanding of Real Estate ground-up experience
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field. MBA or CFA designation is a plus.
  • Proven experience in capital formation, fundraising, investor relations, or related roles within the venture capital or private equity industry.
  • Advanced proficiency in Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
  • Private Equity and/or Real Estate experience a plus
  • Self-motivation with the ability to work independently and as a team player
  • Strong work ethic and desire to excel in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment
