SRG is seeking an experienced Defensive Cyberspace Operations Analyst to join our team of Cyber Operation Analysts and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to support planning, coordination, synchronization, and execution of offensive and defensive cyberspace operations in support of aligned combatant command and designated sub-unified commands
This includes a deep understanding and experience in the employment of available cyberspace capabilities as well as the creation of future cyberspace capabilities
Tasking will include comprehensive cyber support for cyberspace operations planning and intelligence analysis at Joint Force Headquarters level.
The candidate should demonstrate the ability to review, analyze, and operationalize tactical and operational-level Cyber directives
An active/in tolerance TS/SCI w/CI Poly clearance will be required for access to the place of performance, system account creation to perform the tasks, and access to classified data.
Roles and Responsibilities:
The Defensive Cyberspace Operations Analyst will perform the following functions:
• Analyze emerging Operational and Functional Requirements at the force, theater, Combatant Commands (COCOM) and national levels to support the formulation, development and assessment of doctrine, strategy, plans, concepts of operations, and tactics, techniques and procedures in order to provide the full spectrum of Cyber Warfare and enabling capabilities to the warfighter.
• Conduct technical analyses and provide assessment reports on the integration of cyber requirements, capabilities and training, perform assessments of cyber warfighting capability and the utility of new and emerging technologies, analyze assigned missions for capability gaps in Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) and Offensive Cyber Operations (OCO).
• Recommend solutions for capability shortfalls through submission of an analysis report.
• Perform and document technical trade studies which lead to the development of new Cyber Warfare architectures and detailed engineering designs.
• Assist with Command-level cyber inspections and vulnerability of cyber requirements, conduct technical analysis and provide reports recommending integration of cyber requirements, capabilities, and training.
• Assess cyber warfighting capability of new technologies.
• Analyze assigned missions for capability gaps in Defensive Cyber Operations and Offensive Cyber Operations.
• Conduct trade studies supporting the development of new cyber warfare architectures, draft and edit Operational Plans (OPLANs), OPORDs, and FRAGOs.
• Develop Reports approximately 20 pages in length, 20 times per year.
Basic Qualifications:

Minimum of 10 years of experience with military cyberspace operations and the military planning process; Or with a minimum of 3 years in military cyberspace operations and a BS or higher degree in IT related field.

Must have tactical and operational experience as a staff planner.

Ability to engage senior leaders and staff and conduct operational and informational briefings to a large audience.

Ability to work effectively within a task organized working group and expertise with planning, integrating, and coordinating with inter-agency and intelligence community entities
