As a Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager, you will spearhead transformative initiatives, manage critical components of our global employee travel program, drive strategic sourcing projects, and collaborate closely with peer Sourcing Managers to ensure alignment on functional strategies. This high-impact role offers an opportunity to develop and implement category strategies, optimize service relationships with global providers, and contribute to the long-term success of Freshworks. Day-to-day you'll: Lead various transformation initiatives to support organizational scalability and growthManage key aspects of the global employee travel program to ensure efficiency and cost-effectivenessDrive strategic sourcing projects and initiativesCollaborate with peer Sourcing Managers to align functional strategies and drive synergiesDevelop and implement category strategies to optimize service relationships with global providersProvide strategic guidance on structuring service agreements to maximize value for FreshworksMentor and coach team members to foster their professional growth and development Please note this is a hybrid role with onsite expectations of 3x/ week (Tue-Thur) from our San Mateo (HQ), Bellevue, or Denver office locations.QualificationsDemonstrated ability to apply rigorous logic and sound methodologies to solve complex problemsProven track record of negotiating effectively with key suppliers to achieve mutually beneficial outcomesExperience in developing and implementing competitive negotiation strategiesStrong relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders, including senior management Proficiency in financial analysis to ensure favorable returns for the companyAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyExcellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence at all levels Comprehensive understanding of contractual terms and negotiation principlesExperience working with globally distributed teams, both internal and externalPrior experience in developing and mentoring employees If you are a dynamic, results-oriented individual who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about driving strategic sourcing initiatives, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity to be part of Freshworks' journey toward a bright future.Additional InformationColorado Pay Range: $190,000 - $240,000.
