Duties * Facilitate and/or coordinate National Guard enterprise Process Improvement efforts. * Responsible for the strategic direction and operations of the Process Improvement Office (PIO), the Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) Program, and the NGB Assistance Program. * Responsible for planning, executing, and managing the overall strategy for the National Guard Process Improvement, CPI, and NGB Assistance Programs. * Serve as Office Chief responsible for providing technical direction, advice and assistance for operations of the PIO Staff. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes plan, program and secure resources for Process Improvement initiatives; prepare and communicate senior level briefings, information, and concept papers; advocate business management improvement initiatives to support strategic objectives; research and write performance management and process improvement policy and initiatives; oversee contract performance management and performance improvement mission set. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-14).
