Our client, a Delaware-based law firm, is seeking a Systems Administrator to join their growing team This exciting role is a Direct Hire opportunity. Our client is seeking an individual local to their Wilmington, DE office so they can work in a hybrid working model. This position is not offering sponsorship at this time.

Job Summary:

Our client, Delaware s largest law firm, seeks a full-time System Administrator to join its Information Systems team in Wilmington, DE. This position reports to the CIO and would support the following activities, including Collaborating on server maintenance, updating, and maintaining the health and performance of the Firm s systems.

Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain and implement firm systems, including servers and infrastructure. Work with others in the department to ensure system architecture components function seamlessly.
  2. Maintain account and access management, and group policy.
  3. Monitor and test backup and restore functionality of firm data to ensure procedures are consistently followed and improved.
  4. Test and enhance disaster recovery procedures for existing and future systems. Perform recurring failover tests with others in the department.
  5. Ensure overall system and server uptime, availability, and reliability.
  6. System monitoring and maintenance, including configuration, patching, automation, hardening, and upgrades.
  7. Maintain existing ISO27001 certification with the IS department team.
  8. Work with 3rd parties as needed for projects, support, and maintenance.
  9. Maintain up-to-date network documentation.
  10. Perform daily monitoring of logs, alerts, and other events of note.
  11. Troubleshoot and maintain remote connectivity for users.

Required Skills and Experience:

  1. Ability to rapidly analyze issues, anticipate consequences, make decisions, and initiate action. Good problem-solving skills are also required.
  2. Thorough knowledge of complex information systems management is normally acquired through a bachelor s degree in technology or computer science or the equivalent experience.
  3. Minimum two (2) years of experience in information systems administration. Certification requirements vary and a willingness to continue certification tracks is desired.
  4. Ability to communicate information and ideas effectively and efficiently to attorneys, managers staff, and vendors. The ability to approach both technical and non-technical audiences, and maintain effective relationships with the above in person, by e-mail, telephone, or remote.
  5. Able to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work with the IS department to perform the same.
  6. Experience with Virtualization, Cisco Infrastructure, and Windows Server administration is preferred.
  7. Knowledge of enterprise applications such as Exchange, SQL, and Active Directory
  8. Attention to detail and willingness to update and maintain documentation.
