Position Title: Maximo Administrator

Job Summary: As a Maximo Administrator, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of the IBM Maximo Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system within our organization. You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure that Maximo meets the business needs for asset management, maintenance, and facilities management.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and administer IBM Maximo EAM software and related components, including Maximo Application Server, Maximo Database Configuration, Maximo Integration Framework, and Maximo Anywhere.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for asset management, preventive maintenance, work order management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Design and implement Maximo solutions to meet business needs, including configuring asset hierarchies, classification systems, maintenance plans, and service level agreements.
  • Perform regular maintenance tasks, such as software upgrades, patch installations, performance tuning, and system monitoring, to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users and IT support teams for Maximo-related issues and inquiries.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, policies, and procedures for Maximo system administration and usage.
  • Conduct user training sessions and workshops to promote adoption and proficiency in Maximo software and best practices.
  • Stay informed about updates, new features, and industry trends in Maximo and EAM technology, and make recommendations for enhancements and optimizations.
  • Collaborate with IT security and compliance teams to ensure that Maximo systems meet regulatory requirements and security standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience working with IBM Maximo EAM software, including installation, configuration, and administration.
  • Strong understanding of asset management principles, preventive maintenance, and work order management.
  • Experience with Maximo development tools and technologies, such as Maximo Integration Framework (MIF), Application Designer, and Automation Scripting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Experience with other EAM systems, such as SAP EAM or Infor EAM, is a plus.
  • Maximo certification or training is desirable.
