Position Title: Treasury and Grants Management System Specialist

Job Summary: As a Treasury and Grants Management System Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of the organization's Treasury and Grants Management System. You will collaborate with finance, accounting, and grant management teams to ensure the effective utilization of the system to manage cash flow, investments, grants, and other financial activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement and configure the Treasury and Grants Management System to meet the needs of the organization, including cash management, investment tracking, and grant administration.
  • Customize system settings, workflows, and reporting capabilities based on business requirements and regulatory guidelines.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for end-users, providing training, technical support, and troubleshooting assistance related to the Treasury and Grants Management System.
  • Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to reconcile bank accounts, monitor cash flow, and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions within the system.
  • Manage the administration of grants, including grant budgeting, fund disbursement, and compliance reporting, using the Treasury and Grants Management System.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, policies, and procedures related to the use of the system and financial processes.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices, regulatory changes, and new features in Treasury and Grants Management software.
  • Lead system upgrades, patches, and enhancements, coordinating with IT teams and vendors to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews of system data to identify discrepancies, errors, and opportunities for process improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience working with Treasury and Grants Management Systems, such as FIS Quantum, SunGard AvantGard, or similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, including cash management, investments, and grant accounting.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and provide training and support to end-users.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with system implementation, configuration, and support is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to treasury management and grant administration is a plus.
