Duties * As a Supervisory Human Resources Specialist, you will perform duties to include but not limited to the following: * Apply comprehensive expert functional knowledge of military personnel programs to all levels of management officials with the IMCOM Directorate and Garrisons. * Oversee the management, execution and implementation of an effective military HR program. * Develop guidance and standards for new and/or changing program areas. * Develop recommendations and solutions to military HR management issues and problems. * Present reports and briefings on military HR program status and/or recommend actions to appropriate individuals. Requirements Conditions of Employment * Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. * One year supervisory probationary period may be required. * Temporary duty travel (20% or less) away from the normal duty station may be required. Specialized experience required: : At least one FULL year of specialized experience at or equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience providing comprehensive advice and guidance on military HR management regulations/ policies; providing technical training to support military HR personnel actions and systems; and, analyzing military HR program information to identify necessary corrective actions.
