TELECOMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST with Security Clearance

Duties * You will make recommendations on matters pertaining to communications systems and requirements. * You will conduct special studies and analysis for communications missions that require a variety of unusual and highly specialized communications equipment. * You will address communications across most network mediums in order to achieve robust reliability of communications systems. * You will determine feasibility of newly developed communications equipment and techniques in order to perform specific network functions throughout the agency. * You will provide telecommunications trainings and complete necessary equipment repairs and modifications. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying knowledge on tactical radio communications and antenna theory with the ability to adapt existing guidelines and procedures on communications; 2) Articulating performance data received from software/hardware studies in order to conduct solo research and tests; and 3) Teaching a wide range of groups and the ability to modify training curriculum based on audience, training location, and resources.
