Chronos Operations (CO) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Chenega

The Navy Warfare Development Center (NAVWARDEVCEN) is seeking support for a **Telecommunications/Security Technician I** who will be responsible for software and hardware operations for telecommunications and security.

**Responsibilities**:

- Must be knowledgeable in and experienced with software and hardware operations for Telecommunications or Security.
- Has experience in the specific technologies required by a Task Proposal Request.
- Provides support in the less technical disciplines of Telecommunications/Security, such as equipment operations, moving and installing equipment, cabling, data entry and verification, media duplication, document control, and software installation.
- Work as a member of a team.
- Support business development activities as required (e.g., customer technical capabilities briefings, past performance content, technical solutions).
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Management, or other closely related scientific or technical discipline
- Must have the following technical skills with 10+ years of experience:

- Cisco H.264/H.320, CMS Local Custodian, CMS Ancillary Equipment & Devices, Secure VTC (Un-Classified/Classified), Definity 75, DCS
- Must have the following technical skills with 1+ years of experience:

- Tele-Con/Phone Bridge, ISDN/IP, VTC Lifecycle Management
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Secret clearance required

**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**
- Ability to meet minimum security clearance requirements.
- Have demonstrated knowledge in IT System analysis and programming.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to be an accomplishment-oriented, team player, and an individual contributor.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, be proactive, and assume additional responsibility and accountability.
- Ability to develop strategies to achieve organizational goals; Continual attention to detail, establishes priorities, and meets deadlines.
- Ability to format and create training courses and learning materials.
- Strong MS Office Suite skills.
- Experience with MS teams.
- Adapt strategy to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands and rapidly be able to assimilate new information.
- Ability to approach others tactfully, react well under pressure, treat others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or posture, accept responsibility for one's actions, and follow through on commitments.
