Senior Satellite Operations Analyst with Security Clearance

LinQuest Corporation is hiring highly-skilled and motivated candidates to join our space and satellite operations team on the Prototype Operations contract at Kirtland AFB in Albuquerque, NM. An active TS/SCI clearance is required. This contract currently supports the operations of ten on-orbit satellites, with more scheduled to launch over the next few years. We also provide daily mission planning and mission operations services, including orbital analysis and flight dynamics. In this role, you will:
Be responsible for leading and/or participating in space mission pre-launch, launch, and on-orbit operations activities, to include mission exercises and rehearsals, in the capacity of mission lead, evaluation engineer, or senior operator as assigned. Obtain certification as a space mission operations engineer on multiple experimental satellite missions.
Collaborate with customers across missions to define and refine mission requirements and needs.
Coordinate requirements among and between programs.
Provide detailed analysis, evaluation and recommendations for improvements, optimization development, and/or maintenance to systems and processes. Support system readiness, planning, preparation, execution, and ops crew evaluation for satellite launch and early orbit operations, on-orbit operations, and end-of-life retirement/disposal.
Lead engineering reviews and participate in engineering boards and configuration boards, both internally and with the government customer.
Create engineering test plans and products, as well as assist in development and review of operational procedures developed by program mission lead personnel.
Promote corporate culture and foster an environment of collaboration, innovation, and professional development within the team.
Identify and develop opportunities for technical or process improvement.
Develop relationships with the customer and team members.
Support flexible hours including potential shift work or support during off-shift hours.
Travel on occasion as required (minimal).

Bachelor’s Degree (engineering, management or related discipline preferred) or equivalent experience in a systems engineering capacity.
7 years of directly-related experience in space operations, space engineering, or ground systems engineering.
Requires problem-solving skills and ability to follow procedures, checklists and contingency plans.
Proven leadership in a technical field. Preferred Skills/Experience: Graphical user interface and scripting experience highly desired
C++, Perl
Master’s degree in engineering or technical field
Extensive space operations and space engineering experience
Extensive background in identifying and addressing challenges to include innovations that result in positive organizational impact.
