RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking an Account Receivables Specialist in Phoenix, AZ.Summary:The Account Receivables Specialist will support our efforts to maximize revenue, improve financial visibility and control, and manage costs. Meeting month-end close deadlines, providing financial results in a timely manner, risk mitigation, and reducing material weaknesses are all part of the position.Duties:
  • Prepares, posts, verifies, and records customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable
  • Creates invoices according to company practices; submits invoices to customers
  • Maintains and updates customer files, including name or address changes, mergers, or mailing attentions
  • Ensures Salesforce and NetSuite integration is in sync by working with the Salesforce Administrator
  • Ensure timely, accurate and reliable financial statements and reporting, and to ensure that policies and procedures meet other organizational objectives and needs
  • Interface with company's external auditors by providing requests and data backup
  • Drafts correspondence for standard past-due accounts and collections, identifies delinquent accounts by reviewing files, and contacts delinquent accountholders to request payment
  • Creates reports regarding the current status of customer accounts as requested
  • AR Collections - Researches customer discrepancies and past-due amounts
  • Collaborates with the Revenue Accounting Manager to reconcile accounts receivable on a periodic (at least bimonthly) basis
  • Assists in generating monthly billing statements based on the general ledger
  • Relays changes of information to appropriate employees
  • Provide system automation via NetSuite to ensure customers and employees get their statements and various Aging and revenue reports
  • Undertake special projects and/or general management assignments as requested by senior management

REQUIREMENTS:

  • To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
  • Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
