The Custom Antibody Project Coordinator is a multifaceted role with responsibilities across Custom Services, Animal Operations, and Manufacturing. This position shares responsibility for planning for custom antibody projects, managing scheduling of lab activities and ensuring raw material is produced on schedule. The successful candidate is detail-oriented, highly motivated, and willing to develop new processes where they do not exist.


What You Will Do


  • Assist in planning and coordination of custom polyclonal antibody projects and services.
  • Assist in planning and scheduling lab activities for custom PBMC, splenocyte and ascites production.
  • Assist in preparing custom antibody products for shipment to customers.
  • Coordinate actions between animal operations, production, and custom polyclonal antibody services to ensure lab activities and production occurs on-time.
  • Assist in maintaining schedule of custom polyclonal projects within ERP software and animal database.
  • Facilitate workflow between Animal Operations, Manufacturing, Customer Service to track in process animal projects, antigen inventories and materials for project completion.
  • Assist in performing serum titer ELISA assays across multiple species for custom service projects.
  • Prepare reports, datasheets, and data packages for customers.
  • Communicate project details to animal operations, production, and customers.
  • Contribute to validation of polyclonal antibody QA/QC testing.
  • Maintain general lab supplies and specific reagent inventory to enable efficient and productive workflows.
  • Promote the principles of quality management and quality assurance.
  • Perform additional job duties as assigned.

Knowledge and ability to perform basic laboratory skills.

Mathematical and scientific skills.

Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.

Good interpersonal and teamwork skills.

Solid planning, priority setting, and project management skills with experience managing multiple priorities concurrently.

Educational and experiential background:

Associate degree or higher in relevant scientific field—biology, biochemistry or immunology.

2+ years' experience in a related role - preferably ELISA and project management.

Prefer knowledge of project management, databases, and inventory management.

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Office365.
