Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to oversee and manage residential construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the construction industry, with experience in estimating, bid intake, project budget management, schedule building and management, and trade management. This candidate will report directly to the Managing Partner. 


Key Responsibilities:

·      Oversee all aspects of construction project management, focusing primarily on residential projects with some commercial work.

·      Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring projects are completed within financial targets. Complete job cost analyses to communicate internally and to clients. 

·      Create, monitor, and adjust project schedules as necessary to ensure timely completion.

·      Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, designers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.

·      Manage the intake and evaluation of bids, including negotiation and contract management. 

·      Provide accurate estimates and assist in the preparation of project proposals.

·      Ensure all work complies with industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations.

·      Lead and manage project teams, ensuring clear communication and accountability across all trades.

·      Monitor project progress, addressing any issues or changes in scope promptly and effectively.

·      Prepare regular reports on project status, including financial performance and schedule adherence.

·      Manage project financials in accordance with the project-specific contract structure. 

·      Implement new technologies and best practices to improve project efficiency and outcomes.

·      Develop and enforce safety plans and protocols on all job sites.

·      Conduct regular safety meetings and ensure that all team members are aware of safety procedures.

·      Provide leadership and guidance to the project team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

·      Coordinate the delivery of materials and ensure that the right resources are available at the right time.

·      Ensure that all necessary permits and approvals are obtained before starting a project.

·      Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including environmental and safety standards.

·      Identify potential risks to the project and develop mitigation strategies.

·      Monitor risks throughout the project and adjust plans as necessary to avoid or minimize issues.

·      Maintain strong, positive relationships with clients and t he community to ensure repeat business and referrals.


Qualifications:

·      Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, with a focus on residential projects.

·      Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations.

·      Experience with estimating, bid intake, and budget management.

·      Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

·      Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

·      Proficient in project management software and tools.

·      Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

·      Valid driver’s license.
