Job Summary:

The Project Manager supervises and provides support to technicians in the field who install, configure, and maintain integrated systems. The individual in this role provides leadership on job sites by managing work plans and goals on multiple projects, assigning tasks, providing mentoring, and overseeing delegated tasks. The Project Manager also demonstrates mastery of Technician, Programmer, and Designer duties.

Essential Functions:

§  Manages contract scope, specifications, and code on multiple projects.

§  Manages daily technician and project scheduling.

§  Supervises job quality to ensure all work meets quality standards.

§  Provides work progress reports and project updates regarding production schedule, scope changes, material, and labor management.

§   Manages the quality of system designs from vision to installation

§  Provides technical support to technicians on project installation team. and sales teams

§  Understandsses hand and power tools safely.

§  Reads and interprets blueprints, diagrams, floor plans, specifications, and operational/product manuals.

§   Set up and troubleshoots LANs, WANs, and VPNs

§  Works with ISPs

§  Configures TCP/IP networking protocols.

§  Assists technicians to iInstalls, configures, and maintains audio/video, satellite/cable, networking/data system, and security system equipment, devices, and components.

§  Troubleshoots simple and complex systems.

§   Installs and terminates low voltage cable.

§   Installs low voltage panel and junction boxes.

§  Travels to job sites

§  Maintains company issued tools, equipment, and vehicle.

§  Interacts with clients, builders, designers, architects, and other industry professionals.

§  Client system onboarding and training.

§  Performs related duties as assigned.

§  Motivated to learn new technologies and processes

Education & Experience:

§  Minimum of five years of low voltage integrated systems work experience required

§  Minimum of a high school diploma required; post-secondary degree or certification preferred

§  Industry recognized (CEDIA, Savant, Lutron, Control 4, Araknis, Luma etc.) credentials preferred
