SLAM is looking for a talented Digital Asset Designer to join our Commercial Creative team based in Indiana. As a Digital Asset Designer, you will play a crucial role in crafting engaging digital assets that elevate our brand presence.


Role Overview


As a Digital Asset Designer, you'll play a crucial role in shaping SLAM's visual identity across various digital platforms. Collaborating with diverse teams, you'll turn ideas into captivating visuals, from social media graphics to email templates and digital ads, your creativity will drive the visual narrative of our brand. This role is ideal for a passionate designer with a keen eye for detail and a knack for creating visually compelling content.


Responsibilities


  • Design and create compelling digital assets for various platforms, including social media, websites, emails, and digital ads.
  • Collaborate with marketing, content, and commercial/merchandise teams to understand project requirements and objectives.
  • Translate creative briefs into visually appealing designs that effectively convey brand messages and engage our target audience.
  • Ensure all digital assets are optimized for different platforms and devices, maintaining consistency and quality across channels.
  • Stay updated on design trends and best practices to continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of our visual content.
  • Provide creative input, feedback, and ideas during brainstorming sessions and design reviews.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines.
  • Work closely with team members to ensure alignment on design concepts, project goals, and deliverables.


Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, or related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in digital design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and creative projects.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and layout techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a keen eye for aesthetics and design excellence.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and meet project deadlines.
  • Experience in creating digital assets for sports marketing campaigns, websites, or social media platforms is a plus.
