Quality Assurance Analyst

Chicago – Onsite for 6 months then Hybrid

Must be local to the Chicagoland area


About The Role:

You will oversee the final product's handling and uphold adherence to Quality Assurance protocols, cGMPs, SOPs, and PBA standard requirement documents .The Analyst will engage in a collaborative environment alongside our Quality Assurance, development, and client support teams, assisting in tasks for ongoing projects and tracking project statuses. This is a full-time exempt position reporting directly to the Head of Quality Assurance and is based on-site in our Chicago office.


What You’ll Do:

• Capture, assess, and document automation outcomes on a daily basis.

• Create comprehensive test frameworks from the ground up, encompassing Integration, Regression, and Performance/Load testing.

• Manual/Automated QA testing

• Formulate and document test plans in accordance with specified requirements.

• Assign QA release status and determine disposition to approve finalized products.

• Generate metrics that reflect the quality of a release

• Performs additional tasks requested by supervisor and manager

• Update and upkeep the QA database to facilitate the retrieval of reports.

• Ensures timely and accurate maintenance of controlled document files and test records.

• Participate in daily stand-up meetings and communicate status updates



What We’re Looking For:

• Completion of a 4-year college degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, or a related field in a quantitative discipline.

• Range of 1 to 5 years in a Quality Assurance role, with 1-3 years of technical experience.

• Must have at least 1 year of unit test automation

• Fluent in C#

• Experienced in Python and Java, with a solid grasp of SQL; familiarity with Selenium is advantageous.

• Experience with FIX protocol

• Previous exposure to the financial markets and familiarity with derivatives trading.

• Understanding of algorithmic trading engines and working knowledge of trading GUIs

• Proficient in testing methodologies involving statistical methods and data analytics.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work with all levels of staff.

• Detailed oriented with a strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and in a team setting

• Work in a high energy environment and ownership of tasks with a professional, motivated attitude

• Available to work in hybrid environment (min. 3+ days in office per week) after six month onsite start

• Local to Chicagoland area only or willing to relocate to Chicago
