The role involves consistent communication with the internal development team, digital marketing manager, and other stakeholders regarding website issues and enhancements.The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and teamwork abilities to foster positive relationships with their team, as well as excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills. This role requires the ability to effectively communicate within the team and work both independently and collaboratively to achieve project goals.Roles & Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategies, goals, and roadmaps for quality assurance, both short and long-term.
Oversee the creation, execution, and maintenance of test plans, including automated/manual, functional/integration/regression test cases, and validation procedures using a traceability matrix to ensure comprehensive test coverage throughout the development lifecycle.
Optimize test cycle efficiency and integrate test automation into the continuous delivery pipeline.
Establish QA acceptance criteria for test plans and lead the Test Automation transformation by incorporating a Testing Center of Excellence.
Report on the progress of overall test preparation/execution to leadership and stakeholders.
Mentor and empower the Quality Assurance team, focusing on quality and development efficiency.
Manage Quality Assurance tools and team, overseeing testing efforts on assigned projects and ensuring each defect is managed to resolution.
Prepare test plans, test scripts, and release documentation; execute test scripts and test cases, and track results/issues.
Participate in or support various testing phases, including unit, integration, regression, and user acceptance.
Support both planned and emergency issues or releases; work closely with project management and teammates to gather requirements, assist in the design of enhancements, functionality, and release planning.
Collaborate with digital marketing and development teams to understand functional requirements.
Develop and review test cases with internal stakeholders to ensure comprehensive coverage through unit, functional, user acceptance (UAT), and regression test cycles.
Proactively report any issues using a ticketing system, maintaining ownership through resolution.
Assist with release and software build management activities in QA and staging environments.
Implement quality maintenance plans weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly.
Investigate website issues and determine resolution plans.
Create reports on issues reported and fixes; perform analytical thinking and troubleshooting across multiple browsers and operating systems.
Conduct A/B testing on the site as needed.
Other responsibilities as directed.
