At Ryan Hughes Design Build (RHD), we create better lifestyles through innovative outdoor living. We are a high-energy, luxury outdoor design-build firm that offers an elevated experience to our client base. We're seeking an ambitious, relationship-driven individual to join us as a Sales Associate. This role requires someone with strong presentation skills and the ability to connect with our clientele. This position will manage the client relationship from initial qualification through contracting.


Responsibilities:

  • Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing excellent customer service through phone, email, and in-person meetings. Address client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Sales Process Management: Manage the sales cycle from initial inquiry to contract closure as the main point of contact for our clients. This includes qualifying sales leads, scheduling and conducting consultations, presenting proposals, and negotiating contracts.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, providing exemplary concierge services to deliver a best-in-class sales and contracting experience for qualified prospects.
  • Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through networking, referrals, and marketing initiatives. Participate in industry events and trade shows as needed.
  • Proposal Development: Prepare client design proposals, ensuring all proposals meet client expectations and company standards.
  • Market Knowledge: Stay informed about industry trends, provide insights and feedback to the team to improve sales strategies.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all client interactions, sales activities, contracts in the CRM system, and RHD meeting notes.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Design team to ensure communication around client expectations are relayed.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • At least 4+ years of sales experience, construction industry preferred.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build trust with diverse stakeholders and colleagues.
  • Strategic thinking with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated with a sense of urgency and initiative.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
