(Contract) Teammate Engagement

The Teammate Engagement and Event Coordinator will play a key role in planning, organizing, and executing events and initiatives to drive our Teammate Engagement goals. This individual will work closely with various departments, stakeholders and external partners to ensure that all events are reflective of our commitment to inclusion and belonging where all our teammates can thrive. The ideal candidate is passionate about teammate engagement, highly organized, with experience in event coordination and management.


This is a 12 month contract position located in our Tustin CA office.

This individual will be required to work from our Tustin office 3x-4x per week.


Key Responsibilities:


Event Support and Management:

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute People Team events related to our teammate engagement goals which may include workshops, team-building activities, heritage month and cultural celebrations, company tours, lunch and learns, and social impact volunteer activities.
  • Partner with our Teammate Resource Groups (TRGs) across all locations to drive a sense of belonging and community in the planning and coordination of events.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth execution of events.
  • Assist with event logistics, including venue selection, catering, audio-visual requirements, and transportation.
  • Maintain events calendar to ensure strategic timing and avoid conflicts.
  • Provide support and event management services to wider People Team on ad hoc basis when needed (i.e. Engagement Survey support, Health and Wellness Fairs, Onboarding, Leadership Training Events etc.) following a “One People Team” philosophy.
  • Gather feedback from employees to continually improve the quality and impact of social events.


Administration:

  • Maintain accurate records of event activities and attendance, budgets, and participant feedback to aide in planning of future events.
  • Support with all Teammate centric initiatives such as distribution and shipping of gifts and giveaways, purchasing and selling of Company merchandise for events, oversight of internal merchandise for Teammates (such as onboarding new hire gifts).
  • Assist in processing of Purchase Requisitions to support various Programs and Department.
  • Support the DEIB and Teammate Engagement team with other administrative tasks as needed.


Skills and Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience with event coordination and corporate office setting.
  • Strong experience with and knowledge of MS Office computer applications intermediate to advanced skills with Outlook, Word and Excel are strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of SAP Success Factors, Egencia, Certify applications or equivalent
  • Good organizational skills and strong attention to detail are required.
  • Ability to carry out a variety of clerical tasks independently from general instructions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Teammate Engagement experience a plus but not required.
