Department/Unit: Medical/Surgical Hospitalist - E4 Work Shift: Nights Salary Range: $83,200.00 - $93,184.00 Join our dedicated team at Albany Medical Center, where we foster a compassionate and caring environment for patients, families, and colleagues. As a Clinical Nurse II, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our patients by providing high-quality nursing care. The Clinical Nurse II responsibilities include: Implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, and performing treatments, procedures, and special tests while documenting treatment in accordance with company policy and relevant regulations. Ordering, interpreting, and evaluating diagnostic tests to assess and identify patients' conditions. Conducting thorough assessments and evaluations of patient needs and responses to care. Applying sound nursing judgment in making patient care management decisions. Providing primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses. Administering medications, both over-the-counter and prescriptions, as ordered. Collaborating with the nursing team to develop an effective Plan of Care for all patients.
