RF Business Development Manager - Newark, NJ Area


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Grow and achieve $ 10+ million in sales. Solid experience in costing BOMs
  • Create volume opportunities of gross margins above 50%
  • Where appropriate manage manufacturer’s reps.
  • Guide the company through becoming an approved vendor at key customers.
  • Guide the organization to ensure that Company always achieves a top vendor rating.


BACKGROUND PROFILE:

  • An active and live Rolodex of engineers and specifiers within US defense primes, contract manufacturers and engineering companies serving the armed services.
  • High technical expertise in HPAs and RF Filters to be able to talk authoritatively with customer and internal engineers.
  • 5 years minimum um experience in technical or application sales.
  • At least 10 years experience in the US, Hi-Rel HPA sales domain.
  • Track record of identifying opportunities and managing customers and internal resources to get qualified and being a key vendor to programs in the HPA and RF Filter space.
  • Ability to find and sell both run rate and project business.
  • Track record of working successfully with international agents, distributors and reps.
  • Both numerate and literate with a high degree of expertise in MS Office applications (Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
  • The candidate must be a team player and have the emotional intelligence and maturity to motivate team member and customers to success
  • Fluency in Hebrew and working with the Israeli defense industry would be major advantages.
