Director CDMO Business Development

Purpose of the Job:
Head the Business Development in US region and accountable for the sales targets of CRAMS/CDMO division (Early & Late Phase)
Deliver strategic marketing initiatives so as to make the company a preferred business partner and support in creating value for business
Key Deliverables :
Revenues and Sales targets
Business Orders
Customer Pipeline
Inputs to new business opportunities
Key Roles/Responsibilities:
New Business Opportunities
Creating strong client pipeline by targeting the potential customers and build strong relationships
Providing inputs towards new business offerings based on client understanding
Ensuring customer centricity
As the client facing organization ensuring that the organization and its services are consistently presented in a strong, positive image to relevant stakeholders
Reducing customer churn rate by driving customer centricity in the organization
Strengthening internal processes
Ensuring timely proposal turnaround by providing inputs towards proposals that are based on client understanding (technical and price expectations)
Providing inputs towards developing the budget for promotional activities like trade fairs etc., detailing projected spend on business development activities
Ensuring timely review of the internal stakeholders as per the indicated guidelines
BD Sales processes and knowledge management
Creating and updating all relevant assets to business generation and development like basic and account plans, territory, quarterly/half yearly rolling plan etc.
Championing knowledge management system rollout, especially for BD-related activities
Providing inputs towards Channel Selection to Strategic Marketing
Providing inputs towards developing a customer-specific strategy and finalizing the different forums for interaction
Providing inputs towards different channels for customer reach and basis the budgets decide on the appropriate channels, frequency, contact points etc
Essential Qualification & Experience: Degree in technical fields(preferable) and master’s in management from a reputed university. 05—10 years in CRAMs in BD and Sales.
