SALES AND MARKETING MANAGER – CUSTOM PLASTICS


Here is a chance to run all sales and marketing for a small and growing company near the Mississippi River. This company is looking for a hands-on, experienced sales pro who can both bring in new business by introducing this excellent manufacturing company to new clients and help develop and mentor our existing inside and outside sales staff. This is a rare opportunity to get in at the ground floor of a company with state-of-the-art machinery, an extremely solid financial base of existing business, and a reputation of quality and excellence among their existing clients. Why is this role open? Because business is so good they have recently tripled their production capability and floor space and need someone who can fill that capacity.   • Able to interact with your customers while managing some of the key accounts.
  • Report directly to CEO.



SALES AND MARKETING MANAGER QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5 years of experience in an environment that would develop a technical understanding of CUSTOM polymer products (molded, thermoformed, roto-molded, extruded); sufficient to understand the practical applications.
  • You will need to know at least the markets custom polymer products are sold into and must be able to clearly explain how your products can be used and most importantly, create a positive cost/benefit analysis to sell the idea to the customer.
  • 5 years of proven ability to successfully develop new clientele and grow sales in a custom-product environment; selling custom solutions as opposed to selling stock products.
  • 3 years of sales management experience with direct reports
  • Ability to create and manage sales budgets.
  • Ability to determine pricing models and what the “ideal client” looks like.
  • Highly assertive, relentless sales personality and the proven ability to proficiently analyze, prepare presentations, and close multi-million-dollar growth opportunities.
  • 4-year degree preferred but will consider a great proven sales history in lieu of education.
