The Role:

As a Senior Automation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing automation solutions for process and utility systems. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and qualification of systems while enhancing reliability and efficiency. Lead projects, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to meet evolving business and regulatory needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and oversee plans for maintaining and improving process control systems

Manage implementation of systems and interfaces, aligning with manufacturing schedules

Serve as automation lead on projects, ensuring adherence to budgets and standards

Establish and maintain automation standards, specifications, and maintenance plans

Provide subject matter expertise and support audits and inspections as needed

Coach and train colleagues and stakeholders, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing

Utilize various tools and manage assignments with a focus on quality and risk management

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent experience

Minimum 5 years of engineering experience in manufacturing environments

Proficiency in troubleshooting automation systems and batch processes

Familiarity with SCADA, PLC, HMI, and Windows-based operating systems

Strong project management skills and ability to drive results

IT competencies including networking, system backup, and permissions preferred

Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing and MES preferred
