The Compliance coordinator is responsible for the daily support of the agency title licensing and insurance tracking needs. Works closely with the Director of Assurance with underwriting appointments and collaborating on gaining new state licenses.
This role plays a critical role in monitoring the renewal dates and working closely with insurance brokers, state specific department of insurances and internal employees. Sustaining positive relationships with insurance carriers to obtain necessary information needed to accurately pay renewal premiums. Working with Secretary of State representatives to address licensing needs.
This position also supports the Director of Compliance with coordinating the information needed for underwriting audits. Collecting data, i.e., bank statements, policy production stats and other state specific items to ensure all items are accounted for and the deadline submittal date is met. Prepares reports on quality findings, interprets data, and makes recommendations to the Director and department management to rectify areas of opportunity.
Processing insurance renewal payments, sending licensing reminders and updating a centralized Entity Management database system are a few of the accountabilities this position is responsible for.

Established in 2007, Vacation Ownership Title Agency, Inc. (VOTA) is an expert service provider at the forefront of the vacation ownership industry, providing premier title and escrow services. Our staff includes senior members of the vacation ownership industry from diverse backgrounds in timeshare development, lending, and title insurance. We leverage our resources as industry experts to provide a full suite of services for the entire lifecycle of a vacation ownership property including contract audit services, title and escrow work and ongoing member and inventory tracking.
Responsibilities:
· Effectively collaborate with internal partners to ensure required underwriter and state audit requirements are met.
· Assist with developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive compliance program to ensure adherence to all relevant federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
· Conduct regular audits and reviews of internal controls and processes to identify and mitigate potential risks.
· Investigate and resolve compliance issues, including preparing reports and taking corrective action.
· Partner with various departments across the company to ensure compliance awareness and integration.
· Stay up-to-date on evolving regulations and industry best practices.
· Provide training and education to employees on compliance policies and procedures.
· Maintain accurate compliance documentation.
Qualifications:
· Associates Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, or a related field (preferred).
· Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a compliance role.
· Strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations within the Real Estate Title Industry.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Superior written and verbal communication skills.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
· Experience with compliance management software (a plus).
· Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
