Job Description: As a Construction Project Manager at Leading General Contractors, you will lead the successful execution of ground-up construction and renovation projects across warehouse, industrial, and commercial sectors. You will be instrumental in managing all aspects of project delivery, from initial planning and budgeting to final completion and client handover. Your role will require strong leadership, meticulous planning, and effective communication to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee multiple construction projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Coordinate and collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to optimize project outcomes.
- Implement rigorous safety protocols and quality control measures to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
- Monitor project progress and performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues to mitigate risks and delays.
- Foster strong client relationships through clear communication, responsiveness, and proactive problem-solving.
- Prepare and present regular project updates and reports to stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, budget status, and project risks.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and permit requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 6 years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on warehouse, industrial, or commercial projects.
- Proven track record of successfully managing projects with values up to $20 million from conception to completion.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry best practices.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
