Bilingual Japanese/English Sales Manager Duties:
-Discuss with Supervisor all sales targets for specific area(s)
-Be informed of company directives and any changes made to those directives while ensuring compliance to them as they occur.
-Develop new customers while maintaining and expanding current customer list.
-Meet with potential clients and grow long-lasting relationships that address their needs.
-Seek out and create a plan for discovering new opportunities to sell company products.
-Ensure that company quotas are met by holding daily check-ins with sales team to set objectives and monitor progress.
-Contact and call on brokers, distributors, customers, and clients frequently in order to establish a relationship and increase sales.
-Process, coordinate and initiate all paperwork that is related to the operation of the branch.
-Oversee 1-2 staff members.
Bilingual Japanese/English Sales Manager Skills:
-Must have a bachelor's degree
-Must be able to speak Japanese
-Must have 2+ years Food Service Sales experience or food trading company experience
-Must be able to travel frequently (once a month with a one week stay period)
-Must have supervisory experience
-Clean driving record
-Successful history of meeting sales goals to large regional and national accounts
-Ability to carry 50 lbs., and set up trade materials/equipment
