Responsibilities:

  • Develop and continuously improve site EHS Management System/HSE Management System to align with the Berry Blue Audit EHS management requirements.
  • Coordinate with CPI/Divisional EHS team to ensure site remains apprised of Divisional initiatives, guidance, and relevant incidents and regulatory updates.
  • Monitor and participate in site training process to ensure all EHS requirements are being met.
  • Evaluate and incorporate good practices from other locations at the site as appropriate.
  • Lead and facilitate site incident investigation process to include identification and tracking of corrective and preventative actions.
  • Lead and facilitate site Risk Management process to include Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and control/mitigation activities.
  • Track and report progress against objectives in support of the EHS Strategy.
  • In liaison with the site leadership team, ensure compliance with all relevant statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead Safety Committee
  • Drive safety culture by holding others accountable
  • Partner with operations
  • Drive training compliance and ensure records management


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science/Engineering in a relevant field or equivalent EHS experience
  • 5 years of EHS Experience
  • Ability to work and communicate with and influence the site leadership team
  • Demonstrate key Berry behaviors by working in a united, focused, agile, and accountable manner
  • Knowledge of [country] EHS laws, regulations and associated requirements
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and comfortable using a variety of software programs



Compensation:

$110,000 to $130,000.


Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.


Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
